Scouting
As a part of our commitment to minister to the youth of our community, we sponsor an active Scouting program. This includes Boy Scout Troop 98, for boys ages 11 through 18, and American Heritage Girls Troop GA0098, for girls ages 5 through 18.
 | Boy Scout Troop 98 meets every Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 PM. In addition to our regular meeting times, we also take the boys on monthly adventures like camping, hiking and backpacking. To join Boy Scouts, a boy must have completed the 5th grade, be eleven years of age, or have earned the Arrow of Light award as a second year Webelos Scout. |
 | American Heritage Girls Troop GA0098 also meets on Monday evenings from 6:30 until 8:00 PM. AHG is a faith-friendly program for girls that offers life skills taught through a merit badge program, leadership opportunities for the girls at all levels, exciting outdoor experiences, character development through community service projects and citizenship programs, social development, and spiritual development through a religious award program. |
