Kindermusik
As a service to our community, we are pleased to offer the Kindermusik program as one of our ministries. Kindermusik is a unique way of teaching young children that integrates music, creative thinking, dance, and other cognitive skills.
Sherry Carter, a member of First Christian Church, has spent her entire adult life teaching young children. A graduate of Huntington College in Indiana, she also holds a Graduate Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
For 23 years she taught in kindergarten classrooms, where she integrated music into the curriculum as one means of reinforcing basic skills. Now she continues her service to children by offering these Kindermusik classes here at the church.
